Throw  {Deputy of Acquittals} in that mix
Screw that guy! In my draft the other day my friend had 5 of those and an {AEtherling}, and {Trostani's Summoner}, and like 5 counterspells... We ended up going to time, it was ridiculous.

I played a draft on Sunday and a guy had an  {Ætherling}. We went 1-1 in the first two games and in game 3 I had a great board and was taking over the game when he dropped the bomb.  {Ætherling} is stupid powerful in limited. Game ended in two turns after he came out. Swinging for 8 unblock able every turn then after combat blink it to make it an untapped blocker again... Whoever created that card was a moron. I have no idea how it passed play testing.

Because control decks ({U} in standard) can't easily counteract the amazing creatures and creature-supporting spells. Outside of board wipes it's actually quite difficult for control decks to deal with many of these creatures, which when coupled with {Cavern of Souls} makes it even harder for control decks. {Ætherling} is a way for blue to counteract that, at the expense of the limited environment.

But a pumpable, unblockable, immune to removal creature is just too much... There is no way for the opponent to interact with this creature and I think that is terrible for the game.

Crapshooter

 {Devour Flesh} or any sac card hits these cards.

If its their only creature out it does. Not likely in limited formats that they have only 1 creature on the board.

And even then they could exile it with the ability and have no creatures to sacrifice...

Oh, true. Because its not a flicker. It's an exile until end of turn. Really. Immune to removal.

Guess you're going to have to have {biovisionary} with a few one drops on the field so you can pull off an {infinite reflection}

Stunning all for the biovisionary win

He's a bastard but I think it's a beautiful card. Swing for 4 unblockable, Flicker, {Supreme Verdict}. Pass turn XD
