Sliver Decks with  {Gemhide Sliver} work pretty well.

Flashing it in at the end of your opponent's turn with {Alchemist's Refuge} or something similar so it untaps right afterwards at your untap step is a handy trick.

And if you're leaving standard, there's good ol' {Amulet of Vigor}, {Master Transmuter}, and all sorts of nonsense to get it going quicker.
