Bought a combo pack, pulled a foil {cavern of souls}, a {garruk relentless}, and an {inferno Titan}, pretty happy today

I only ever buy packs if I have a good ducking about them and then usually the pulls are meh at best. I just had a really good day

I pulled a  {Liliana of the Veil} from one of those when she was at $35.... Then traded her... Sigh. She's at $46 now.

Kinda hard to do, isn't it?  Unless you make it your job to monitor card prices, it's hard to tell when a card is going to decrease or increase in price.  For example: {Geist of Saint Traft}.  People were holding on to him at $30-ish because he is so good and used in all formats, and now he's dropped $8-$10 (I forgot exact prices.)  Liliana stayed at mid 20's for a long time even though she was used in at least standard/modern super heavily.  People (including me) figured it was fine to trade her away with little fear of her changing much because of her pretty consistent price. 

No need to be mean to someone because they are upset that they lost value on something

Exactly. Never push buttons when you don't know the outcome. He lost value, he's upset. I lost value on my foil  {Geist of Saint Traft} bc I held onto it for too long. It is what it is, no need for put downs. Only pull ups.

actually he said the price dropped 8-10 not that the price dropped TO 8-10, but he meant that the price dropped BY 8-10.
