Sorry for going completely off topic, but I have noticed tons of threads getting moved, and while I understand some, how in the world does this belong in pull and ponies? I mean the header for general disscusion is "Anything and everything" right? Just confuses me. /offtopic

It belongs here. One of the reasons pulls and ponies was created was to give a home to threads that are really random and fall outside of the "normalcy" of general discussion and chat.

There is a method to the madness ;)

As for the topic itself, I've always been curious about this kind of stuff and it's various causes. The closest thing I've had to a paranormal experience is how eerily often it happens that I think of a movie or tv episode line or quote, and later that day that episode will air. Nothing spectacular, but happens often enough for me to have noticed it (like, once a week).

But my approach is mental - it's all brain chemistry in my opinion. I've studied a lot of abnormal psychology. Even a healthy brain is capable of fooling us into believing some crazy stuff that never happened. But, this is simply my opinion.

That is sort of why it interests me too Gorzo. I hold a couple of science degrees and spend my wage-slave time in the laboratory. My mind is dominated by logic and reason, and I am a skeptic by nature. That being said, that while I can't explain it or even know if it can be explained, I have seen it first hand. As I posted before, I have even had others tell me what they saw without any foreknowledge that it even existed. It's really exciting.

I'm a conventional degreed scientist as well (chemist), and now opened up to all things paranormal and metaphysical once I arrived at  my own theory that the hard science behind all consciousness and self-awareness is in the subatomic, and that all things subatomic are capable of storing consciousness.

In fact, it was my interest in oracle cards and their forerunners, tarot cards, that are partially what brought me back to Magic the Gathering after 15 years away. I no longer believe that randomization is what it purports to be, but rather that the attempt to randomize is actually an invitation to receive metaphysical information. Therefore, I fully expect to have paranormal experiences through playing Magic and working the cards.

How's that for bringing back to topic? Anyone want to report paranormal experiences directly connected to their Magic cards? That would be fascinating.

Casual game with a bro and he plays  Storm Crow. The air started feeling heavy and tasted metallic. I mouthed "what have you done" as the smell of burnt ozone permeated the room. My two dogs began howling, however it grew distorted and began to sound like a cacophony of demons laughter and women screaming. The card began glowing and a pentagram formed underneath it. All grew quite until a soft whisper spoke "For using something so powerful, your souls are now mine." Needless to say my bro won that match.

Me and a friend put her Christmas tree up two years ago and afterwards took a picture of it on a disposable camera. When we got the photos developed all of the candy canes on the tree were hanging upside down. The most creeped out I've ever been.

Seeing things in pictures that shouldn't be there is awesome. It always gives me chills. I don't really know why, but it really creeps me out. I love being creeped out by things though lol

^lol

But ive seen the same car with the same man driving ovee the course of months, not every day but when i see him its 3-4 times minimum. And a car that looks the same has been parked in my neighborhood for days at a time with noone in it, and in very stranged spots(i.e. directly inside a side entrance, hundreds of feet from any house.) also i have seen a man standing whilst driving, then seen the same man standing further along my drive.

I was walking to my house in at like 7:00 pm but it was in the winter so it was dark outside. A truck came down the street towards me them stopped at the curb and turned its lights off. It was about 70 feet in front of me. I walked really slowly towards it because I did not want someone to jump out and attack me or something like that ;)  Anyway as I neared the truck I was that nobody was inside it so I peeked in the window to see if they were leaning down and there was no-one. It was a truck with seats only in the front also so there was no place for someone to be hiding. I then proceeded to run home.

He's a huge power creep for one, he changes the board state the second he enters and that's on turn two, imagine if you cheated him out sooner!  Perish the Thought!
