This is my version of karador and I have had pretty good success with it so far. Survival of the fittest is on the sideboard and also sheoldred... I am open to thoughts and suggestions, but overall this is a very fun recursion machine to play with.
I agree that you need a lot more land - 35 bare minimum. Ideally as close to 40 as possible.
I disagree that Karador is weak though, I love him as a commander. My reanimator Karador deck is a blast to play, and my friends have learned to fear him.
Well, appreciate the feedback and have been working to make this deck more consistent... Remember that edh is multiplayer, so in my meta that means at least 5 players. That being said, I have been able to make this deck run on 4 mana. Yes, you heard it right folks, 4 mana. With Hermit DruidFauna ShamanBirthing PodQuicksilver Amulet using available tutors and Life from the Loam to bring back non basic land, also the idea is that as long as there isn't overmuch grave hate, that the more creatures in my graveyard the merrier... I have added Living Death and removed Congregate I have also replaced Garruk Wildspeaker with Garruk, the Veil-Cursed. I have included also Blazing Archon and Sheoldred, Whispering One most of the time I am able to play karador for 3 mana, and also with the few ramp creatures that I have and also Land Tax with karador I can reuse my mana ramp creatures over and over not to mention Conjurer's Closet and the mana ramp or tutor or token effects that happen again and again...
