Crazy pack choosing rituals

The title says it all, what do you do to ensure you have a good pack? Like today at my LGS I sniffed 8 m12 packs and I was looked at really weird until I opened a glacial fortress and a foil sun Titan. Also with gatecrash I will ONLY buy a pack with skaarg guildmage on it.

I always pick from the bottom

I pick the first pack I see on top, always. It's worked in my favor so far.

Really? With Dark Ascesion that idea always screwed me over... I had to go middle of the stack

I just go with my gut. No crazy ritual

At my LGS they hand you the pack. It ain't on no shelf.

I always take the packs no one wants.

I look at who is on the package. If I need a "specific" color/card then I'll go with one that matches what I'm looking for.

Sometimes I'll pick a few packs and give them a little bend and the one that feels thicker is the one that I'll buy.

Buy the whole booster box.

Someone I know box maps. So irritating.

I generally take the first couple packs off of each row, grab the ones below them, and put the others back.  I don't think it's ever worked for me
