I guess I was wrong WotC always owned mtg. But it seemed to change after ice age or an expansion or two later that it seemed watered down and they were just throwing expansion after expansion. They seemed to take away what made each color unique and give it to each other color.

Big toy company Hasbro bought up WotC.

It's something called "color-bleed", and R&D are very careful with how they do it.

Yea but I think when hasbro took over they didn't try that hard. They just wanted to mass print product to make more profit

So, you think R&D aren't trying as hard to make good cards anymore?  You don't think a good strategy to get people to buy more cards is to make the game more fun? ???

I think they are now but back in the late 90's I don't think they put much effort.

I think they took it as a business to make as much money as they could as quick as possible. Content started to dwindle. It didn't seem as fun it seemed they were just trying to mass market it.

Research & Development. Although, with MtG, design and development would be a better name. Pity D&D was already taken. XD
They are the ones making the cards we love.

And if I didn't think it was fun I wouldn't have came back to playing again. This is an expensive hobby. I'm sure I could find better things to waste my money on

I liked the stats they had for a deck better and it offering a suggestion for land ratios is a nice idea but I haven't tested it to see how good it is yet.

I'm obviously not switching from iMtG but I'll run this thing through its paces and tell you what I like and don't like.

My main issue with toolbox is that it won't run on my older software.. I tried downloading it and it said I need iOS 4.3+. This won't happen for me because I only have a 2nd gen iPod. Wizards need to seriously rethink their app...

Hey, so THAT'S why they wouldn't audition iMtG!
